About All Things Kita

This corner if the internet started as my first completely personal expression of my creativity.. I’ve always had a desire to make and create things.. I’ve always been attracted to patterns + can see the patterns throughout life + translate them into something my own.

Before knowing how crochet can be such a regulating practice, I dove head first into the crochet community + always kept a project on me to keep me busy + constantly making something.. an anchor through a season of my life when I was a new transplant in Tucson, AZ and the medium in which I was able to take up space online + find my place within such an eclectic artisan community.

Over the 5 years of actively running my handmade shop, I learned so much about running a product based business, so much about how to introduce myself as Kita (it was my first time introducing myself as Kita beyond my friends in college + owning it as my artist name.

I’ve longed to re-activate the shop, pero time was needed to focus on building a personal brand [Kita Zuleta], a community [Cafecito Con Jefas] + a creative marketing + media agency [Zuleta Unltd].

This is the year the shop [All Things Kita] makes a comeback.. not for mass production or jumping 100% into pop-ups, pero re-opening this avenue of creativity + sparking the maker in me to show + show out.
