Why I Finally Added Website Design to My Services

I’ve been sitting with this for a while now.. quietly offering it behind the scenes, helping where I could, building websites for myself, the hubs, our different business ventures, friends and clients for over a decade, pero nunca really saying it out loud.

Not because I didn’t want to offer websites.. but because, for a long time, I felt like since I don’t solely focus on web design, I wasn’t “good enough” to offer it officially. Like there were other designers who were way more advanced, way more established, way more immersed in that world.

I’d build a site here and there, especially if a fellow Jefa needed a starter website or a refresh, but I never really centered it as part of what I do.

Pero over the past couple of years, I kept seeing a pattern.. a gap.. a need.

Inside my coaching calls, the #JefaLife101 cohort, the Casita, the DMs.. I kept hearing the same themes:

“I want a website, pero I don’t have it all together.”

“I’m stuck because I don’t know what my Home page should say.”

“I’m ready to show up.. pero I don’t have a website yet.”

“I want to grow, pero I don’t have anywhere to send people.”

“I feel embarrassed pitching myself without a real site.”

And the more I heard this, the more I had to remind myself.. your skill has grown, your eye has developed, your strategy brain lives for this work.. and there’s a whole group of Jefas who are getting started or rebuilding and need exactly what you offer.

Yes, there are designers who specialize solely in web design, who serve more advanced business owners with bigger budgets and fully developed brands. Many won’t even start a website unless the client invests in a full branding package first so everything is cohesive and elevated and visually aligned. Which makes sense.

PERO that leaves so many beginner Jefas and growing Jefas without support.

The ones still figuring out their messaging.

The ones building their confidence.

The ones defining their brand little by little.

The ones ready to showcase their knowledge with a blog.

The ones needing a simple, strategic, functional home online so they can finally show up.

And I couldn’t ignore that need anymore.

I’m a DIYer to the MAX and I know what it feels like to start with one page and expand as you grow. I know what it feels like to want to update your photos or add a blog but be scared of breaking the whole backend. I know what it feels like to want a website that feels like YOU even if you’re still defining things.

And since I’m constantly teaching to build what you own.. your website, your email list, your long form content.. it finally clicked for me that helping you build the actual digital home for your brand is part of the work I already do.

Your website is your online Casita for your business.

Your email list is your direct line to your audience.

Your content lives on your site and grows your SEO over time.

So if I’m teaching you how to show up, it only makes sense I help you build the place where you show up.

That’s when I decided that it’s time.

Time to finally acknowledge that not only am I capable, I’m actually really good at this. And more importantly, I’m filling a gap for the Jefas who need a website that grows with them, not one that feels out of reach.

I added Website Design to my services.

Not as a side thing.. Officially. Outwardly. With intention.

I build inside Squarespace because it’s intuitive, clean, simple, and perfect for Jefas who don’t want to drown in tech. And because it gives you room to grow and update without fear. Naturally, the way I build your website isn’t separate from the way I coach or guide. I help you define who you are, who you serve, how your offers work, what your clients need to see and feel.. so that your website attracts the right people and leads them directly to how they can work with you.

And I teach you how to push the buttons so you’re not scared of the backend.

Because I believe every Jefa should feel confident updating her own online Casita.

Adding website design wasn’t part of the original plan.. pero helping female entrepreneurs build what they own has always been the heart of everything I do. This offering just completes the picture.

More to come soon, pero for now.. I’m proud of this. And grateful. And excited to support Jefas in a new way that still feels like the same mission.

Aquí estamos, building our brands pasito a pasito. 👩🏽‍💻 🛠️ 🧱

Con amor, Kita
