When Vision Meets Joy: Behind the Scenes with Coach Cirene 🎬✨
There’s something powerful about being present when someone steps into a new season of themselves. That’s exactly what it felt like to shoot with Coach Cirene in October 2023 during the first round of my #jefalife mini sessions.
We only had 20 minutes, but oh, did we make them count. Between the music, the laughter, the dancing.. Cirene didn’t hold back. Her energy filled every frame.
Reconnecting, and Capturing A Rebrand
Coach Cirene and I go way back.. over 20 years of friendship. Then life happened: careers, motherhood, everyday chaos kept us busy in our own worlds for about a decade. Reconnecting and collaborating with her now, for her rebrand, felt full-circle.
Cirene is a First-Gen Latina, wife, mother, and mental health advocate who helps women navigate life transitions with authenticity and purpose. On her website, she puts it simply: she is about equipping and empowering women to thrive through change and design a life of purpose. Coach Cirene
Her services span both pastoral counseling (grounded in faith, healing, and deep listening) and coaching helping women shift limiting beliefs, rediscover vision, and step fully into who they are.
What the Photos Reveal
When I first scrolled through the proofs, I saw more than beautiful lighting and flattering angles. I saw authenticity, I saw the brightness of Cirene’s spirit. I saw her confidence and mission shining through.
From the flowing movement, to the way she held herself, to little candid moments when the power pose faded and joy took over.. these images are about more than a brand. They’re about her story. About her legacy. About stepping into that JEFA that already exists inside.
Behind the Scenes: More Than Just the Snap
Mood & Energy: We played music, we danced, we laughed. Because letting someone relax in front of the camera changes everything.
Speed & Intent: With only 20 minutes, everything had to be intentional. Posing, lighting, wardrobe all planned in advance so we could waste no time.
Connection: The decades of knowing each other gave permission for trust. Cirene knew I was there to honor her story. That freedom shows in her eyes.

Pastoral Counseling – helping women process pain, grow spiritually, heal emotionally
Life Coaching – guiding women to set goals, reimagine their future, break free of what’s been holding them back
Her mission: equip & empower women to thrive through life transitions & design a life of purpose.
