This space is for jefas who want to get clear on their brand, their offers, and how they show up.. without feeling like they have to do the most or be everywhere. We focus on building something sustainable, practicing our voice, and doing it scared.. pero juntas
After a brief pause, the #JefaLife101 Cohort is coming back in just 30 days + I’m feeling positive nerves as I prepare my head + heart to step back into educator + coach mode after a season of being a student + participant for two cohorts, the Mujeres de Hace Entrepreneurs Fall ‘25 [LA Cohort] + the Latina Presente pilot program, as well as getting to work with Yvonne Armenta 1:1 towards developing my public speaking + preparing myself to begin pitching myself as said educator + motivational speaker.
As we start a whole new month [how the heck is it May, already?], I find myself recalibrating towards being back IN + around community. This winter, I got to receive, rest, shed + be supported in these different community settings + I’m grateful for the connections, knowledge, and practice this season has involved. It may have felt like I was hibernating [I kinda was], pero more like, plenty was still happening behind the scenes, so I found myself people-ing less and conserving my energy towards my Q1 projects + completing my cohorts.
Now, I’m excited to inject what I’ve learned, what I was reminded of + the many research rabbit holes I’ve gone down into this round of the #JefaLife101 Cohort.. officially the 8th time that I bring this curriculum to a group setting.. it has definitely evolved over the years, pero the foundation is the same.. the 101s of branding + marketing.. all while PRACTICING our introductions + having hot seats where questions can be brought to the table to receive support and we strategize juntas.
This 8-week group coaching program starts on Tuesday, June 2nd. We meet weekly at either 9am pst or 6pm pst for 90 mins and we share a private cuartito inside the CCJ Casita where we get to continue conversations we only get to start during our cohort. So you’ll have continuous support alongside your fellow Jefas during our time together, getting to ask each other questions as well as join the coworking sessions, cafecitos + strategy calls with the other Jefas inside the Casita.
Although the concepts + strategies taught inside the #JefaLife101 Cohort, it’s a space that welcomes Jefas at any stage of their business who want to have a group of women in the trenches juntas while we work on defining our goals, setting up supportive sustainable systems and receiving accountability as we join each other on our journeys towards creating the dream #JefaLife.
The vision is large, the build is gonna take time. This cohort is perfect for the Jefa who wants to be surrounded by fellow Jefas ready to take #imperfectaction, gaining clarity + confidence as they practice taking up space + working through #socialmediascaries.
Although this is NOT a social media focused course, we do go over how to leverage the different social media platforms depending on your industry + capacity to show up on those algorithms. I focus on teaching + sharing my #showupjefa strategy which focuses on building what you own, defining your brand + menu of offers, creating a sustainable marketing rhythm based on your current capacity + goals while focusing on long form content as a slow drip output + repurposable when needed or ready to be used as I focus on creating and sharing evergreen content instead of seeking vanity metrics or following trends.
Despite being a brand + marketing + sales strategist, I don’t believe that we as small business owners need to take on the role of an influencer. As someone who prefers to be behind the camera instead of in front of it AND prefers not to draw attention to myself, I know deeply the different levels of #socialmediascaries cuz #socialmediaanxiety is REAL.. The platforms were built and originally designed to be SOCIAL, so although I can be a social butterfly in a room where I’m safe + comfortable with community, showing up online can feel less safe and cause the same social anxiety that shows up heavy when walking into a new room with new faces.
Learning how to set attainable + SUSTAINABLE marketing goals alongside doing all the things in life + business [aka #jefalife], is something that I’ve found comes with experience, developing clarity through #imperfectaction, launching ugly, doing it scared pero juntas. Through this cohort and the entire platform that is Cafecito Con Jefas, I’m grateful to have created a space where we continue to learn, grow + evolve juntas.. through all the ups + downs, the different life seasons, the expansion, the grief, the health issues, the burnout.. we keep going, porque la vida es la vida y no para. Entonces le seguimos pasito a pasito, pero pa’lante.
